Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prescription filling process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information
  • Provide exceptional customer service, engaging with customers and patients to ensure a positive experience
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pharmacy environment
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest pharmacy practices and technologies
Requirements
  • PTCB certification or willingness to obtain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
