Job Summary

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, ensuring accurate and efficient dispensing of medications, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications, including retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs
  • Verify medication accuracy and check for possible interactions
  • Process prescriptions, including manual claims for third-party program services
  • Assist with inventory management, including ordering, unpacking, and storing shipments of pharmaceuticals
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues
Requirements
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer good math skills and computer skills
