Position Overview

The U.S. Air Force Central Command's Network Operations and Security Center (AFCENT NOSC) is responsible for comprehensive information technology (IT) services management and operations for AFCENT networks, operating 24/7. Tasked by USCENTCOM, the center ensures information assurance (IA) through boundary intrusion detection and prevention for various components. The AFCENT NOSC encompasses operations, support, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support functions, overseeing the planning, engineering, installation, integration, operation, maintenance, protection, and management of extensive network and systems architecture, infrastructure, and services. In addition to steady-state operations, the AFCENT NOSC deploys personnel to various locations to install, integrate, upgrade, and sustain its supported enterprise networks, systems, and services. To enhance mission execution in a dynamic technological and geopolitical landscape, AFCENT/A6 has engaged NOSC IT support services.
Key Responsibilities

V2X is looking for a qualified candidate to deliver Operations Support Management for the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This role is contingent upon the successful award of the contract to V2X.

Required Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret (with SCI eligibility) Security Clearance.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • DCWF KSAT Category: 801.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.
  • Proven experience and understanding of C# and XAML, Visual Studio, arrays and collections, variable management, program flow control, asynchronous programming, and decision-making statements.
  • Experience with the complete lifecycle of web applications, designing asynchronous solutions, and working with classes, methods, and data validation.
  • Background in IT operations/services management.
  • Development experience.
