Position Overview

The Network Operations and Security Center (NOSC) for the U.S. Air Force Central Command is responsible for comprehensive information technology (IT) services management and operations for AFCENT networks around the clock. This center is tasked with providing information assurance and managing intrusion detection and prevention for various components under USCENTCOM. The NOSC encompasses operations management, support functions, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support, ensuring the planning, engineering, installation, integration, operation, maintenance, protection, and management of enterprise-wide network and systems architecture.
Key Responsibilities

V2X is in search of a qualified candidate to oversee Operations Support Management for the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This role is contingent upon the successful award of the contract to V2X.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (with SCI eligibility).
  • Master's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • DCWF KSAT Category: 801.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of Microsoft server installation, roles, active directory, storage, performance management, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in C# and XAML, Visual Studio, arrays and collections, variable management, program flow control, asynchronous programming, and decision-making statements.
  • Experience with the complete lifecycle of web applications, designing asynchronous solutions, and working with classes, methods, and data validation.
  • Experience in IT operations and services management.
  • Background in software development.
