The U.S. Air Force Central Command's Network Operations and Security Center (AFCENT NOSC) is responsible for comprehensive IT services management and operations for AFCENT networks around the clock. Tasked by USCENTCOM, the center ensures information assurance through boundary intrusion detection and prevention for its components. The AFCENT NOSC encompasses various functions, including operations, cybersecurity, network engineering, and command support, to maintain and protect enterprise-wide network architecture and services.

Key Responsibilities

V2X is looking for a qualified candidate to deliver Enterprise Operations Management Support for the AFCENT NOSC IT contract. This role is dependent on the successful award of the contract to V2X.

Essential Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship with an active DoD TS-SCI Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
  • DCWF KSAT Category: 441.
  • VMWare Certified Technical Associate (VCTA) and ITIL Foundation Certifications.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, including:
    • Installation of Microsoft Windows Server in various environments, utilizing server images.
    • Implementation of storage solutions, high availability, DNS, DHCP, network connectivity, and advanced network infrastructure.
    • Maintenance and monitoring of server environments.
  • Experience in IT operations and service management.
  • Familiarity with Unix/Linux systems.
  • Knowledge of firewall configurations.
