National Vision is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed sales targets by providing personalized service to customers and promoting National Vision's products and services.
- Assist customers with selecting eyewear and contact lenses, and provide expert advice on product features and benefits.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintain a high level of cash handling and inventory control.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, and ensure that all equipment and fixtures are in good working order.
- Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an engaging and inviting shopping experience.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and provide support during peak periods.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies, and provide feedback to management on areas for improvement.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service, preferably in the optical industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
