Workforce Development Program Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused administrative assistant to support our workforce development program in Staten Island, NY.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in computer systems, have excellent organizational skills, and a passion for serving underserved populations.

Responsibilities:
Administrative SupportProvide administrative support to ensure efficient office operation, including managing files, scheduling meetings, and sending emails.
- Greet and provide a warm welcome as the initial point of contact for all participants, guests, and partners at the office.
- Facilitate New Client Orientation on a regular basis.
- Utilize computer systems (Microsoft Office, Salesforce) to manage files, schedule meetings, and send emails.
- Manage multi-line phone system, screening and prioritizing calls.
- Conduct outreach to program participants via phone and email.
- Assist with maintaining and organizing confidential participant files.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 4-year degree, recent college grads encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing tasks and priorities.
- Passion for serving individuals from disadvantaged and underserved populations.

A salary of $45,000 per year reflects the competitive compensation for this role in the Staten Island area.
