Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective nursing practices and policies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Lead and manage a team of nursing staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Monitor and analyze unit performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, hospital policies, and industry standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new policies and procedures.
- Provide education and training to nursing staff on new procedures, technologies, and best practices.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations to ensure open communication and address any concerns or issues.
- Develop and manage unit budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and utilization.
- Collaborate with HR to recruit and hire qualified nursing staff, ensuring a diverse and skilled workforce.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
- RN License in the state of employment or compact.
- BLS certification.
