Nurse Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager to join our team at CHRISTUS St. Patrick Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing units, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to discuss unit issues, process improvements, and safety initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of quality control aspects, including POCT logs and refrigerator temperatures.
- Develop and maintain a skilled and competent staff through ongoing education and training programs.
- Participate in budget development and financial management to ensure effective utilization of resources.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit and hire qualified nursing staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to staff.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures, including those related to patient confidentiality and HIPAA.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- RN License in the state of employment or compact
- BLS Certification
