Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Disability Assessments

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role:

This is an in-person position that requires the ability to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform medical assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day, on average.
  • Review medical records electronically through a web portal and conduct focused, in-person physical exams.
  • Document exam findings electronically through the web portal.
  • Do not make disability determinations; the United States Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations.
  • This role only performs Disability Assessments on Veterans; you will not treat or prescribe medication.
Requirements:
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Proficient use of a computer.
