Majestic Oaks Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a skilled Cook to join our team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with sanitary regulations and our established policies and procedures. You will ensure that safety regulations and precautions are followed at all times by all personnel. Additionally, you will follow established Infection Control Precautions policies and procedures when performing daily tasks. Your responsibilities will also include assisting and directing daily or scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. You will ensure that the department is maintained in a clean and safe manner by assuring that necessary equipment and supplies are maintained. You will report all hazardous conditions or equipment to the Food Service Director immediately. You will also assist in maintaining food storage areas in a clean and properly arranged manner at all times. Requirements for this position include a High School Graduate or equivalent, cooking background in a long-term care facility and/or culinary education, knowledge of food sanitation and batch cooking, and at least one year of long-term care cooking experience.
