Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school-based setting. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address students' communication needs, promoting effective communication and academic success.
  • Direct Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy services to students, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques to support language development and speech skills.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to address students' communication needs, ensuring a comprehensive and supportive educational environment.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and student progress, tracking progress and making data-driven decisions to inform treatment plans.
  • IEP Meetings and Educational Planning: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to educational planning and goal development to support students' academic and communication needs.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid State Licensure or Eligibility: Hold valid state licensure or be eligible for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP): Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or be a Clinical Fellow (CF) with a strong commitment to pursuing certification.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Ability to Work in a School Environment: Possess the ability to work effectively in a school environment, adapting to the unique demands and challenges of an educational setting.
