About the Position

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and services as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and interventions to address patients' communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
