Job Summary:

This role provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department, ensuring the efficient operation of daily tasks in recruiting, payroll, and benefits areas. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the HR Department, including typing, filing, and scheduling.
  • Assist with financial record-keeping, coordination of meetings and conferences, and procurement of supplies.
  • Answer non-routine correspondence and assemble confidential information.
  • Deal with external customers and internal stakeholders, requiring strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Use independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload.
  • Recommend changes in office practices or procedures to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Two-year Associate's Degree in Business or Administrative/Office Assistant Technical Education, plus three to four years of related experience, or six plus years of high-level administrative support experience.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • HR software experience is helpful.
