Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the performance of duties necessary to maintain the physical structure and associated equipment of the hospital
  • Perform minor electrical work, mechanical repairs, and other duties relating to maintenance
  • Work outdoors in extremes of heat and cold, and engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Drive both automatic and manual shift transmissions, and possess a valid NYS Driver's license with no current violations or suspensions
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in mechanical and steam maintenance work
  • Personal maturity, calmness of disposition, and a friendly supportive attitude
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
