Sunbelt Rentals Job Description

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team. As a Road Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on our equipment at customer locations.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and effective equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our equipment and its operation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to our customers.


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a mechanic or technician role, preferably with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment, or specialty lines equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills may be required based on location needs.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
