We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pschiatric Physician to join our team at Provider Healthcare. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity to provide outpatient psychiatric services to patients of all ages.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and motivated leader with a strong commitment to patient-centered care. We are looking for a professional with one or more years of experience post-residency who is board eligible or certified in psychiatry.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct psychiatric evaluation and treatment to patients with diagnostic or therapeutic challenges.
- Consult with clinical staff and primary care providers on patient care, treatment recommendations, and progress.
- Participate in Quality Assurance activities, including treatment utilization review, medication monitoring, and peer review.
- Complete all required documentation in a timely fashion, including reports, notes, and medical records.
- Perform crisis interventions, including suicide assessments and recommendations for patient safety.
- Work in coordination with the Director of Psychiatry/Director of Psychology to ensure full integration of services and a team-based approach to care.
- Maintain productivity expectations in accordance with clinic/program guidelines.
