We are seeking a board certified psychiatrist for a hospital position in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC).
Responsibilities- Provide consultation-liaison psychiatric services to a broad variety of patients at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center (SJHMC)
- Coverage includes emergency department, intensive care unit, medical-psychiatric unit, and neurorehabilitation patients
- SJHMC is home to the Barrow Neurological Institute, an internationally recognized center for neurosurgery and neurology
- 5 days/week coverage with rounding one weekend per month
- Academic appointment at the Creighton University School of Medicine commensurate with experience
- MD/DO License
- BC/BE in Psychiatry (ideally with additional certification/eligibility in consultation-liaison psychiatry, brain injury medicine, or neuropsychiatry)
- Completion of an ACGME accredited residency
- A passion for providing clinically excellent care
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona state medical licensure
