Environmental Scientist/Geologist

We are seeking an Environmental Scientist/Geologist to join our team in supporting our contract with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6.
The successful candidate will have a strong desire to protect public health and the environment by working on investigations and remediation of hazardous waste sites.
The position will include field and office work, managing field projects, leading investigations, and preparing reports.
Responsibilities will include collecting and managing environmental samples, calibrating and maintaining monitoring equipment, and documenting field activities.
The ideal candidate will have a B.S. in Science or Engineering, 1-5 years of experience in environmental investigations, and be able to lift 50 lbs.
