Procurement Specialist

Canteen North America is seeking a skilled Procurement Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the accuracy of our proprietary rebate, pricing, and billing database, as well as processing data requests in a timely manner.

• Database Management: Ensure the accuracy of our proprietary rebate, pricing, and billing database, and process all data requests by stated deadlines.
• Contract Pricing: Administer the release of contract pricing to our distribution/member networks and respond to any inquiries surrounding pricing release.
• Catalog Data Management: Help maintain standardization of catalog data by identifying outliers and requesting updates via Catalog Management.
• Legal Contract Review: Develop a detailed understanding of legal contracts and ensure that our CERES agrees to the commercial terms of the legal contract.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Retro/Revised Billing Opportunities: Identify, calculate, and present Retro/Revised Billing Opportunities to the category development team and process Billing Requests through internal systems.
• Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports using various reporting tools and perform various types of analysis by customer/distributor/category/item relative to purchase volume, quantities, and rebates.
• Product Knowledge: Develop product knowledge and understanding of market conditions.
• Manufacturing Discrepancies: Act as gatekeeper of manufacturing discrepancies, acting as liaison between multiple departments to facilitate resolution to MDNs within agreed-upon SLAs.

• Data Analysis Experience: Must have two plus years of experience analyzing large volumes of data.
• Teamwork and Communication: Must be able to work effectively on an individual basis and as part of a team.
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, with the ability to perform vlookups and pivot table summaries.
• Time and Project Management: Time and project management skills required.
• SAP Experience: Experience with SAP and other database or purchase tracking applications a plus.
• Adaptability: High energy individual able to adapt to an ever-changing environment.
