Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

* Purchase assigned commodities such as materials, components, and supplies at the most favorable price consistent with quality, quantity, delivery, and other factors
* Evaluate and recommend sources of materials and supplies consistent with pricing and quality goals
* Evaluate materials needs and execute timely purchases to support customer orders and inventory plans
* Work to continually improve processes and procedures for best effectiveness

Qualifications:

* Three to five years of experience in purchasing required
* Electromechanical commodity experience a plus
* Associate or bachelor's degree in business or technical field preferred
* Familiarity with MS Windows environment (Word, Excel, Explorer) a must
* Experience with ERP/MRP system in manufacturing environment strongly preferred (Syspro a plus)
