Collections Manager

PACE is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Collections Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the collection process, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients.

The ideal candidate is a results-driven professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You should have a strong understanding of business laws and regulations and be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are paramount in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the collection process and work to reduce outstanding debts
  • Communicate with clients to secure payments and resolve billing discrepancies
  • Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients
  • Update client records and maintain accurate documentation of communication and payment history
  • Resolve customer inquiries and disputes in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer service
  • Ensure compliance with business laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field
  • Proven experience in a collections or debt recovery role
  • Strong knowledge of business laws and regulations
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database software
  • Excellent attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism
