Job Summary:

As a Field Service Engineer at Promega, you will be responsible for performing installation and repair services for internal and external customers on Promega instrumentation. This role requires advanced technical skills, excellent communication, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform installation, training, repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance on Promega instrumentation products. 2. Maintain accurate reports and customer records in the CRM Database. 3. Identify, analyze, and repair instrument issues in a timely manner. 4. Order and replace instrumentation parts as needed. 5. Ensure compliance with Promega guidelines regarding quality, customer service, safety, and productivity. 6. Communicate effectively with customers and supervisors regarding updates, timelines, and project completion status. 7. Collaborate with Technical Service, Product Managers, Sales, and Service personnel to meet business and customer needs. 8. Participate in operational aspects of the local instrument service center and instrument field support. 9. Deliver end-user training for basic functionality on Promega instruments. 10. Demonstrate inclusion, kindness, curiosity, and respect for others. 11. Embrace and incorporate Promega's 6 Emotional & Social Intelligence (ESI) core principles in daily work. 12. Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.

Requirements:
1. BS or MS in a scientific or engineering field, or equivalent experience or education. 2. Minimum of 3-5 years of instrument service or field instrument service experience. 3. Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, occasionally on short notice, up to 80% of the time. 4. Ability to comply with hospital and lab requirements for entry. 5. Ability to maintain a valid U.S. driver's license. 6. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dynamics).
