Human Resources Coordinator

Cambrex's Human Resources Intern will play a key role in supporting the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR operations, offering the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
Key Responsibilities:- Recruitment:
- Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews.
- Participate in campus recruiting events and career fairs to promote Cambrex as an employer of choice.
- Maintain communication and provide updates throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding & Orientation:
- Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and scheduling onboarding sessions.
- Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Employee Engagement:
- Support employee engagement initiatives, such as employee recognition programs, wellness activities, and company events.
- Gather feedback from employees on engagement programs and suggest improvements.
- HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations for internal meetings.
- Support compliance efforts by ensuring HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated effectively.
- Special Projects:
- Collaborate on HR projects related to talent management, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations on HR best practices and industry trends.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
