About the Role:

Cambrex's Human Resources Intern will play a key role in supporting the HR department in various functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in HR operations, offering the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment:
    • Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews.
    • Participate in campus recruiting events and career fairs to promote Cambrex as an employer of choice.
    • Maintain communication and provide updates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Onboarding & Orientation:
    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing orientation materials and scheduling onboarding sessions.
    • Conduct new hire orientations, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as employee recognition programs, wellness activities, and company events.
    • Gather feedback from employees on engagement programs and suggest improvements.
  • HR Administration:
    • Maintain employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
    • Assist with the preparation of HR reports and presentations for internal meetings.
    • Support compliance efforts by ensuring HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated effectively.
  • Special Projects:
    • Collaborate on HR projects related to talent management, diversity and inclusion, and workforce development.
    • Conduct research and provide recommendations on HR best practices and industry trends.
Requirements:
  • Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Interest in developing a career in Human Resources.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
