As an IT Audit Specialist at Constellation West, you will conduct comprehensive audits of IT systems and information security policies to ensure compliance with established standards. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and streamlining cybersecurity measures to enhance the effectiveness of our systems.
Your responsibilities will include reviewing existing operational procedures, analyzing current system workflows, and collecting and organizing audit data to develop actionable recommendations for implementing new systems or procedures. You will also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of recommended audit procedures and confirm that newly installed systems and policies function as intended.
In addition, you will prepare detailed audit reports and recommend improvements to DHS management to enhance operational efficiency, reduce security risks, and maintain compliance with federal IT audit requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need to stay informed about emerging audit standards and cybersecurity requirements to ensure that Constellation West maintains compliance with the latest federal mandates.
