Job Overview

We are expanding our Commercial Construction Division and are in search of a Project Leader. In this role, you will oversee various out-of-town commercial construction initiatives, including but not limited to hotels, restaurants, and places of worship.

The ideal candidate will possess 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity within the construction sector, with a strong background in field operations and a preference for managing projects away from home base. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily field operations of all subcontractors and company personnel assigned to your project site.
  • Foster relationships with subcontractors, team members, and clients, and facilitate field meetings.
  • While hands-on work may occasionally be required, your primary focus will be to ensure the project remains on schedule and meets our high-quality standards. You will serve as the quality control leader for your site.
  • This position involves travel for potential projects, which may evolve into a permanent role.
  • Collaborate closely with a project manager while actively participating in the financial oversight and scheduling of the project.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a construction supervisory role.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Competence in utilizing business technology, including Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with Sage 300 or Timberline software.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Degree, certificate, or training in construction management.
  • OSHA training.
