EAD Management Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Project Manager/Construction Manager to enhance our client's operations at a manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver consistent PM/CM assistance to EAD's clients by leading and managing multidisciplinary project teams, including engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders throughout project execution.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, project stakeholders, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Oversee and coordinate all facets of construction projects, ensuring effective execution and compliance with timelines.
  • Review and authorize construction-related proposals, subcontractor invoices, and project-specific documentation.
  • Collaborate with client representatives, architects, and engineers to facilitate construction processes.
  • Conduct constructability assessments, evaluate site layouts, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Engage in the evaluation of construction bids, recommend selections, and provide insights on subcontractor timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Lead large-scale, multidisciplinary projects, ensuring profitability and client satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with senior client project sponsors, addressing concerns and escalating complex issues as necessary.
  • Prepare project reports, including utilization, profitability, critical path analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented atmosphere.
  • Contribute to the development of project proposals, offering expertise in scope definition, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Actively participate in marketing efforts and support business development initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and practices, promoting a culture of safety throughout project execution.
  • Perform additional duties as required to ensure project success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in construction management.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management or a supervisory role.
  • Engineering or field experience is advantageous.
  • Proven history of managing projects exceeding $1 million.
  • Understanding of the costs associated with goods and services.
  • Demonstrated ability to solicit, evaluate, and manage project pricing, scheduling, and quality objectives.
  • Comprehension of work sequencing and effective project scheduling strategies.
  • Knowledge of project cost control and change order management.
  • Ability to prioritize complex tasks to meet established deadlines.
  • Must possess OSHA 30-hour certification.
  • PMP certification or commitment to obtain it within 12 months.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Possess dispute resolution skills.
  • Proven knowledge and skills in safety practices.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Work Environment:

  • Office, plant, or client site settings.
  • Regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
  • Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs and/or work in confined spaces under extreme conditions.
  • Frequent proximity to moving mechanical parts and equipment.
  • Regular exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations.
  • Commercial and/or industrial environments with potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
  • Noise levels in the work environment are typically loud.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional weekend, holiday, or evening work as necessary.
  • Travel may be required.
