Job Summary:

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at Arkansas Children's Hospital, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality diagnostic MRI exams while ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of MRI protocols and procedures to optimize image quality and reduce scan lengths.
  • Screen patients, families, and staff for MRI contraindications and ensure proper safety precautions are taken.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to develop and implement effective scan protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and report malfunctioning equipment to ensure seamless operations.
  • Comply with all regulatory laws, standards, and protocols to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school.
  • Direct experience is not required, but a strong desire to learn and grow is essential.
  • ARRT certification in MRI within two years of hire.
