Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist PRN to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a Radiologic Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing high-quality radiographic examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine imaging examinations in Diagnostic Radiology on a scheduled and emergency basis.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic techniques and positioning.
  • Operate all equipment and set up rooms/equipment appropriately for exams ordered.
  • Complete patient screening with attention to pregnancy, contrast, and any contraindications.
  • Utilize designated communication devices and respond appropriately.
  • Ensure work area is properly maintained.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college program or technical school or nursing diploma.
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R) certification within 12 months of hire date or eligibility.
  • Radiologic Technologist License (RTL) from the Arkansas Department of Health.
