Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Representative at Genuine Parts Company, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately fulfilling customer orders and managing incoming customer calls. Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries, provide quotes, and handle order entry in a timely and professional manner.

• Place customer orders via various channels, including telephone, email, and electronic methods, while ensuring accurate and efficient processing.

• Collaborate with colleagues to negotiate sales prices and purchase prices, maximizing profit for Genuine Parts Company while meeting customer demands.

• Build strong relationships with customers to drive repeat business and improve customer satisfaction.

• Source products from branch inventory, distribution centers, or suppliers to meet customer needs.

• Determine the most cost-effective shipping methods for customer orders, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.

• Partner with Account Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.

• Expedite backorders, prepare orders for shipment, and handle customer returns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:
Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent and zero to three years of related experience or an equivalent combination. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills are essential for success in this role.
