Job Description

Biztech Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels, performing cycle counts, and ensuring that stockroom operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Assign and maintain bin locations, ensuring that inventory levels align with our inventory management system.
  • Cycle Counts: Perform periodic inventory cycle counts under supervision to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
  • Stockroom Operations: Stock items, maintain proper bin locations, and ensure that the stockroom is organized and efficient.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical counts and system records, and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve inventory management processes and maintain a high level of stockroom order.
  • Stock Returns and Transactions: Handle stock returns, update in/out logs, and ensure timely system transactions.
  • Inventory Tracking: Track stock levels, identify shortfalls, and requisition materials as needed.
  • Kit Preparation: Ensure that complete kits are prepared for production and maintain accurate inventory deductions.
Requirements
  • Education: Associates Degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience, preferably in electronics manufacturing.
  • Skills: Familiarity with part numbers of 10+ characters, experience with Inventory Management Systems, and strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 30 lbs. and work in a stockroom environment.
