About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Account Specialist I to join our team in Dallas. As a key member of our General Industry team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Assist Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on assigned accounts, managing key processes that serve clients and undertaking client-facing and internal activities related to these processes.
  • Submission Assembly and Creation: Perform submission assembly/creation where assigned, facilitating the timely and accurate flow of information between clients and account team members.
  • Client Open Items and Requests: Handle client open items lists and respond to client ad-hoc requests, gathering and analyzing data and drafting assigned elements of stewardship reports and other convincing presentations tailored to the needs of the audience and the circumstances of the presentation.
  • Renewal Process Support: Actively support and monitor the renewal process, drafting quote comparisons and following up for binders, policies, and endorsements at the direction of the Broker.
  • Client Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact with Aon Client Services (ACS), coordinating activities of the client service team and ACS to ensure that key processes assigned are performed efficiently and quality of client deliverables.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Primary collaborator with Premium Accounting on client billing matters, receiving and handling routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests, and serving as key client liaison for items such as certificates, auto IDs, location additions, invoices, Workers Compensation posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals.
  • Problem-Solving and Resolution: Monitor and follow-up on invoice generation, fee agreements, receivables, and collections, addressing and resolving problems, and ensuring tools are understood and used.
  • Leadership and Development: May provide guidance and mentoring to a less senior account specialist, delegating work to support staff and ACS where applicable.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Property & Casualty brokers license preferred, or to be obtained within 120 days of start date.
