Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and empathetic Caregiver to join our team in San Antonio. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional care to clients in their homes, including assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and social support.
  • Implement customized care plans that cater to the unique needs and preferences of each client.
  • Provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.
  • Document client progress and report any changes in their physical condition, mental capability, or behavior.
Requirements
  • Minimum of one year of caregiving experience.
  • Weekend availability.
  • Total Care experience.
  • Dementia experience.
  • Valid Driver's license and valid vehicle insurance and registration.
  • Experience working in a community setting.
  • CNA school, active or former CNA is a plus.
  • Licensure as a CNA, HHA, PCA, HCA, CHHA is a plus.
  • Must have a reliable means of transportation to get to and from work.
  • Successful completion of all state requirements and required state and Company training.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Pass an Employee Misconduct Registry (EMR) check, as defined by Texas law.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal care instructions, and document timely and accurately in systems.
  • Empathy for the needs of the client.
  • Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image.
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of the client's medical information.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Certifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination.
  • Have a smartphone.
