Job Title: Professional Services Specialist II

Omnicell is seeking a highly skilled Professional Services Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our professional services team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and support to customers on Omnicell's products and solutions, ensuring seamless implementation and optimal use.
  • Lead design conversations with customers to optimize implementation and achieve desired outcomes, leveraging your expertise in pharmacy automation and medication management.
  • Represent Omnicell on-site with customers in the healthcare setting, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring successful project outcomes.
  • Responsible for small-scale end-to-end implementations, working autonomously with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual meetings effectively, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform end-user support and guidance during implementation, providing timely and effective solutions to customer needs.
  • Execute build and testing tasks within project plans, ensuring timely delivery and meeting defined scope and milestones.
  • Utilize your expertise to handle multiple tasks and priorities, providing quality results and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and resolve issues, as well as potential risks, that could impact customer relationships and project timelines, escalating as necessary.
  • Communicate project issues and risks appropriately, following escalation procedures and ensuring timely resolution.
  • Document all work performed and submit accurate time entry for client utilization metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Provide knowledge and experience to configure Omnicell's products based on customer workflows, delivering high value and improving medication management and patient safety.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction and success of project implementations, working collaboratively with the project management and technical services team.
Requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead conversations with audiences of all levels.
  • Ability to work within defined scope and milestones for project deployment, ensuring timely delivery and meeting customer expectations.
  • Actively listening to customers' needs to design solutions and partner to deliver desired outcomes, leveraging your expertise in pharmacy automation and medication management.
  • Mentoring peers and bringing others along, ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Familiarity with applications of technology within a cloud-based platform and delivering solutions as a service, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use.
  • Solutions-oriented, willing to roll up your sleeves, identify problems, and come to the team with solutions, driving innovation and improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Highly self-motivated and solutions-oriented individual, working autonomously with minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results.
  • Possess a wide knowledge of Omnicell products, configurations, workflows, and understands the impact on customer outcomes, ensuring expert guidance and support.
  • Understanding of implementation methodologies and technical systems configuration, ensuring seamless integration and optimal use.
  • Curious, always searching for the 'why,' and a life-long learner, continuously thriving in a fast-paced innovative technology company.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • May require product-specific certification for FDA-approved products or knowledge of healthcare regulations, when handling specialized products.
  • Omnicell internal candidates' completion of department-specific trainings and mentoring, ensuring knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team.
  • Comfortable leading change and influencing others to move towards a common vision or goal, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Experience using technology while compounding sterile products highly preferred, ensuring expertise in pharmacy automation and medication management.
  • Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) highly preferred, ensuring expertise in pharmacy automation and medication management.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a healthcare setting with an Associate's Degree or Professional Healthcare Certification.
  • OR
  • BA/BS in Healthcare, Project Management, Business Admin, Finance, or MIS.
  • And
  • A minimum of two years of experience leading healthcare solution implementations or if internal, must meet the qualifications.
Working Conditions:
  • Must be able to travel 100%.
  • Must be able to lift/push heavy equipment and have good dexterity for doing routine configuration tasks.
