Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and carry out established treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with facility standards
  • Enhance clinical skills through ongoing education and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with insurance and regulatory requirements through timely documentation
  • Participate in departmental operations and initiatives
  • Report changes in patient conditions to supervising therapists promptly

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program
  • Ability to practice without restrictions
  • In good standing with relevant regulatory bodies
  • Familiarity with Medicare and other insurance processes
  • Understanding of patient rights and ethical standards
  • Professional demeanor and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient in English communication
  • Current CPR certification
