Job Summary

Leidos is seeking a skilled Radar Systems Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Electronic Warfare (EW) group, you will design, develop, and evaluate high-fidelity models of military systems and technologies.

You will work alongside experts in EW and radar systems to advance the state of the art in research and advanced applications. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and developing high-fidelity models of military systems and technologies
  • Developing novel RF test fixtures, test equipment, and measurement methods
  • Developing software for implementing electronic support and attack algorithms
  • Developing digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) system software models
  • Developing closed-loop digital and RF models to demonstrate and assess adaptive, autonomous, or cognitive sensor systems

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline, and at least 4+ years of relevant experience in radar/EW systems. Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active Secret security clearance. Experience with MATLAB, scientific programming, and radar signal processing is also required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance
  • Working knowledge of digital filtering, spectral estimation, detection and estimation theory, and stochastic processes
  • Experience working in areas of modeling and simulation (M&S), radar, adaptive radar, signals processing, algorithm development, or similar fields
