Retail Operations Manager

We are in search of a proactive Retail Operations Manager to take charge of leading and enhancing a designated Retail Selling and Merchandising team. The Retail Operations Manager will represent Advantage Solutions and our esteemed Clients & Customers by managing retail store coverage, overseeing project execution, and achieving objectives set by Clients, Retailers, and Business Development Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain high-performing teams and ensure that client Key Performance Indicators are consistently met by addressing retail challenges proactively.
  • Oversee efficient retail routing and authorize all routing decisions for the assigned region.
  • Develop team members through training and implement organizational development initiatives using performance management tools, including performance reviews and individual development plans.
  • Identify and integrate external talent into the organization as part of a long-term talent expansion strategy.
  • Manage and assist in developing the budget for expenses and/or revenue based on the responsible channel of trade and client obligations.
  • Focus on growing existing business and acquiring new business opportunities.
  • Driving and travel are essential functions of this role.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Business Management is preferred.
  • 5+ years of retail experience with a focus on associate management.
  • 1-3 years of successful management of Retail Merchandisers, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and client expectation management.
  • Strong customer and client management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop team members.

This position will remain open until filled.
