Job Summary:

The Technical Program Manager will drive the implementation of compliance-focused hardware certification programs for AWS's product compliance function. This includes managing global certifications for product safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), radio frequency (RF), energy efficiency, and restricted substances across a broad portfolio of hardware products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage NPI product compliance activities across assigned programs.
  • Solve data quality and verification challenges alongside NPI TPMs.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams including AWS HW Engineering, Legal, and Trade.
  • Collaborate with US and international manufacturing partners to execute compliance projects.
  • Manage relationships with test labs and certification agencies, including contracts and budgets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, specifically in compliance or hardware certification.
  • Experience managing NPI programs and working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge of global certification standards for safety, EMC, RF, and energy efficiency.
  • Proven experience working directly with engineering teams in a cross-functional environment.
