Position Overview
This role involves collaborating with Autodesk Consulting's Project Managers and Delivery Managers to oversee the financial aspects of Autodesk-led consulting initiatives. The Project Accountant will partner with the Project Accounting Manager to deliver updates regarding project progress, escalations, and revenue recognition in relation to forecasts.

This position will also assist with various ad hoc projects as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular meetings with assigned Project Managers to evaluate project statuses, forecasts, and potential risks to achieving financial targets.
- Manage project setups and updates utilizing our PSA system and SAP Accounting system.
- Analyze revenue and reconcile it against projected forecasts.
- Provide ongoing updates to the Project Accounting Manager concerning revenue, risks, or any non-standard agreements.
- Prepare formal Revenue Accounting Deal Review documentation.
- Oversee GL Account Reconciliations.

Minimum Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in finance.
- Proficiency in SAP S/4 and Business Objects is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required.
- Previous experience in a high-tech organization with a global presence is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams as well as independently.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, resourcefulness, analytical thinking, and follow-through skills are crucial.
- Capability to complete projects and reports within established deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Must be adaptable to a dynamic work environment and demonstrate self-direction.
