Primary Duties:

  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all machinery
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical problems
  • Manage hydraulic and pneumatic repair and troubleshooting tasks
  • Install new machinery as required
  • Perform welding and metal fabrication for components needing repair
  • Oversee the upkeep of the facility and surrounding grounds
  • Continuously enhance mechanical expertise and skills

Preferred qualifications include experience or education in:

  • Preventative maintenance methodologies
  • Mechanical diagnostics and repair
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance
  • 3 phase AC and DC electrical assessments
  • Electric forklift servicing
  • Conveyor system maintenance and repair
  • Variable frequency drives and motor soft starters
  • PLC programming and reading schematics
  • Welding and metalworking

Candidates must be capable of lifting heavy items, proficiently using hand tools, and performing physical activities such as bending and reaching. Additionally, a willingness to work extended hours when necessary is essential for this role.
