Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team at Providence Alaska Medical Center. As a Biomedical Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support for our clinical and non-clinical electronic and electromechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test, diagnose, repair, calibrate, certify, install, and perform preventive maintenance on clinical and non-clinical electronic and electromechanical equipment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure equipment is functioning properly and safely.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Provide training and support to staff on equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology and advancements in biomedical equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technology or Electronics Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • AAMI certification or license.
  • 1 year of experience in biomedical equipment repair.
