Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and mentor a team of maintenance personnel, including registered apprentices, to ensure high-quality work and adherence to company standards.
  • Oversee the assembly, rebuilding, painting, and manufacturing of equipment and vehicles, including PTOs, vacuum pumps, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
  • Review and approve time and materials entered into our electronic work order system.
  • Conduct performance reviews and monitor employee development to ensure the growth and success of our team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork, including electronic repair orders, inspections, and inventory cycle counts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines and maintain a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience supervising a team of employees in a tank truck, heavy equipment, or truck fleet shop environment.
  • Previous experience with HM183 cargo tank inspections, production line, and assembly, as well as plant experience, is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to use web-based software and vehicle diagnostic systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
