Product Strategy Marketing Lead

Compensation: The target salary range for this role is $100,000-$115,000 and will be based on the individual's qualifications, skill-set, and experience in determining final salary. There will be an annual review for merit along with profit-sharing based on organizational and personal achievement.

Overview

As a Product Strategy Marketing Lead, your primary focus will be on the strategic placement, pricing, and positioning of RBW products. You will engage in the analysis of market dynamics and consumer behavior to deliver data-driven insights to the organization, alongside conducting comprehensive voice of the customer research. Additionally, you will spearhead the development and execution of a robust market research framework. You will be an integral member of the product development core team, with your success measured by the timely launch of market-relevant products that meet budgetary and sales expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Innovation team to craft precise product briefs that highlight our products' unique value propositions.
  • Analyze product performance metrics, including installation ease, market pricing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Support the multi-year product strategy and effectively communicate it to key stakeholders; develop processes for feature enhancement suggestions.
  • Manage the customer advisory group to ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Report, analyze, and disseminate market data to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Evaluate and analyze Net Promoter Scores to gauge customer loyalty.
  • Conduct interviews and analyses to uncover market requirements.
  • Monitor product performance and provide data-driven recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Perform market analysis of target markets and competitive landscape.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and/or product development, preferably within the interior lighting sector or related industries; familiarity with photometry, IES files, UL standards, and dimming protocols is advantageous.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve common objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in multifunctional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a talent for building rapport and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Self-directed, goal-oriented, and results-focused, with strong time management skills to meet sales targets and deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary for client visits, trade shows, and other business-related engagements.
  • Proficient in project management software, Wrike, Google Workspace, and other relevant tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of analytics and data-collection tools (Google Analytics, NetSuite, etc.).
