About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced hospitality professional to join our team as an Executive Director of Hospitality Operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee the seamless execution of daily operations, ensuring that all financial and statutory requirements are met.
  • Guest Service: Support the delivery of outstanding guest service, fostering a positive and memorable experience for our customers.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement strategies for operational management and development, aligning with organizational performance plans and budgets.
  • Financial Management: Manage and control department expenditure, staying within agreed budgets and maintaining a keen eye on profit and loss.
  • Administrative Responsibilities: Perform P&L analysis, maintain budgets, track costs of goods, labor costs, expenses, overtime, inventory, and customer feedback.
  • Communication: Regularly communicate with key stakeholders regarding venue performance and operations.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the restaurant, adhering to departmental health department food standards, OSHA, Fire & Life Safety Regulations.
Leading the Team
  • Leadership: Demonstrate passion for hospitality, food, and beverage, and lead by example.
  • Team Development: Engage, mentor, and energize a diverse team, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Coaching and Development: Proactively involved in the selection, development, performance management, and separation of team members.
  • Performance Management: Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and all aspects of performance management of the team.
  • Partnerships: Partner with BOH management to ensure operational and service expectations are defined and delivered.
  • Company Standards: Champion and adhere to all Company standards and policies.
  • Team Morale: Maintain team morale, addressing any and all issues with care and efficiency.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of five (5+) years of high-volume restaurant management experience.
  • Knowledge: Proven knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant is required.
  • Guest Service: Extensive understanding of guest service and the importance of the guest experience.
  • Financial Management: Proven ability to accurately calculate P&L and implement spending changes is required.
  • Adaptability: Must have flexibility and be adaptable to all types of changes.
  • Communication: Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic, and able to multitask.
  • Coaching and Development: Proven ability to coach and mentor.
  • Leadership: Must be able to create fun and ease in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all types of business contacts.
  • Certifications: A valid TABC Certification/Food Handler Card is required and must be obtained before entering this position.
