Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Manager to join our team at Wide Effect. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Coordination
    • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
    • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and owners.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Cost Management
    • Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimates, forecasts, and variance analysis.
    • Monitor and control project expenses, ensuring adherence to budget and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Develop and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize project profitability.
  • Quality Assurance and Control
    • Develop and implement quality control plans to ensure project deliverables meet company standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues.
    • Collaborate with project teams to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Develop and maintain effective communication plans to ensure project stakeholders are informed and engaged.
    • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including project status, risks, and issues.
    • Facilitate project meetings, including project kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings.
  • Risk Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, including financial, schedule, and quality risks.
    • Develop and implement risk management plans to minimize project risks.
    • Monitor and report on project risks, ensuring timely mitigation and resolution.
  • Close-out and Handover
    • Develop and implement close-out plans to ensure project deliverables are completed and handed over to stakeholders.
    • Conduct project close-out meetings to review project performance and lessons learned.
    • Document project lessons learned and best practices for future project improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Over five (5) years of experience in construction project management, with a preference for civil and structural experience.
    • Preferably possess a four (4) year degree in construction management or civil engineering.
  • Skills and Competencies
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
    • Knowledgeable in estimating, scheduling, and quantity take-off software.
    • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
