About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Professional to join our team at New York Life. As a key member of our Service Organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to agents, clients, and Field Management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day customer service to agents, clients, and Field Management via phone, email, or in-person
- Answer incoming calls and greet customers and potential agent candidates
- Assist with ad-hoc administrative functions to support the General Office
Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent years of related experience
- 2+ years of customer service and administrative experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Organizational skills to maintain accurate records and find important information quickly
- Patience and listening skills to respond appropriately and interact positively with customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively
Training and Development
As a Customer Service Representative, you will receive on-the-job training to learn about the insurance industry and product and policy provisions. Coaching and feedback will be provided to help you gain the necessary skills to be successful.
Shift Information
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to work any 7.5-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
