About the Role

Copeland is seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team in Sidney, OH. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to production staff on quality-related issues
  • Troubleshoot and repair gauges, ensuring they are functioning properly and up to date on calibration
  • Create, maintain, and revise quality documentation, including OMS's, gauge instructions, and work instructions
  • Assist in nonconforming product disposition and participate in internal audits to verify conformance to quality standards
  • Create and edit CMM programming and assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Requirements
  • Experience in quality systems and 1-3 years of relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of multiple gauging techniques and aspects, as well as strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Teamcenter
  • Working knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints and exceptional communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associates degree or three (3+) years of relevant experience
  • ASQ Certification and CMM Programming and troubleshooting (PCDMIS software)
