Clinical Laboratory Specialist

Sonic Anatomic Pathology offers a challenging and rewarding career opportunity for a Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Histology. This role is based in Dallas, Texas, and involves working in a fast-paced laboratory environment with biological and chemical hazards.
We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in histotechnology and a passion for delivering quality results. The successful candidate will have a minimum of graduation from a school of Histotechnology accredited by CAHEA/NAACLS AND HT (ASCP) and 1 year of laboratory training or experience performing high complexity testing.
This position comes with a competitive salary of $65,000 per year and offers a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
As a Clinical Laboratory Specialist in Histology, you will be responsible for performing routine H & E and special stain procedures, as well as documenting scheduled preventative maintenance. You will work closely with the laboratory team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
The ideal candidate will have strong reading, writing, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to operate general laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and automated analyzers. Experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving is also highly desirable.
