Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technician 3 to join our manufacturing team at Western Digital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for moving and expediting non-production wafers, transacting wafers using MITECS, and following guidelines to unpark and release wafers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for moving and expediting non-production wafers.
  • Transacting wafers using MITECS; releasing holds; performing non-standard transactions.
  • Following guidelines to unpark and release wafers, using current procedures.
  • Clearly communicate in written/verbally with development team members.
  • Must possess good communication, problem-solving, basic computer, and team-building skills.
  • Candidate must be able to learn quickly and apply knowledge.
  • Candidate must be flexible with hours and work overtime, as required by the team.
Requirements
  • Experience working in manufacturing fab.
  • Must have knowledge and experience using MITECS.
  • Must have basic computer skills; must be comfortable using Outlook, Teams, Windows applications such as, but not limited to Microsoft Excel.
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency/commitment and be result-oriented.
  • Must be very detail-oriented.
  • Must be a self-starter and quick learner.
  • Must be able to solve problems and troubleshoot minor issues.
  • High School/GED.
