Job Summary:

As a Manufacturing Technician at Neuralink, you will play a critical role in the assembly and manufacturing of our R1 Surgical Robot, a cutting-edge device used to support the implantation of our N1, an intracortical brain-computer interface (BCI) capable of recording and stimulating. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and optical systems, as well as excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble and manufacture the R1 Surgical Robot, ensuring high-quality and precision in every component
Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement new fixtures and processes for the R1 Surgical Robot
Troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical systems, applying knowledge of electronics, mechanics, and optics
Maintain accurate records of manufacturing and maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with FDA and GMP regulations
Work closely with the production team to optimize workflows and improve efficiency

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in a controlled manufacturing environment, preferably in a medical device or robotics setting
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and optical systems, as well as experience with solid 3-D modeling software
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
